Who this is for

You feel sluggish and get bloated after meals. You are wondering if you should make dietary changes, but don't feel the capacity to invest hours of cooking in this season of your life. Your body is carrying a lot and it is starting to show that burden through your skin.

If you recognise yourself in this, then this tincture was made for you.

Ingredients

Organic Burdock Root (Arctium lappa, radix) extracted in organic alcohol and distilled water (45% v/v, gluten free).

How to use it

Take 2–3ml directly under the tongue or in a small glass of tea or water. Hold 30 seconds before swallowing for the fastest effect. Another option would be to add to your water bottle and drink throughout the day, although this will depend on your taste experience.

Consistency matters more than timing. The effect of herbs usually lasts for 3-4 hours. These plants work best as daily nourishment rather than acute intervention.

On alcohol content, especially for the breastfeeding mothers: a single dose contains less alcohol than a ripe banana. To be precise — 1/8th of a teaspoon at 70% alcohol. This is for the highest extraction ratio across all Rooted Mothers tinctures.
